Madrid: The Royal Botanical Gardens

. 11 September 2016 .
It may seem weird to begin my travel tales from the last day of my Europe trip, with images from the Royal Botanical Gardens no least, but it was this 30+ degree visit that really stuck with me alongside many other favourite memories.

Located in Madrid's centre, this little oasis is worth the 4 euros' entry fee (or 2 euros if you're a student). Their invernaderos or greenhouses were absolutely magical and I could have easily spent another hour wandering around if time permitted.

Address: Plaza de Murillo, 2, 28014 Madrid, Spain
